Director of Boondock Films Makes Furniture...

Troy Duffy is a musician, screenwriter and director. He
is known for his cult classic Boondock Saints and its sequel Boondock
Saints II: All Saints Day. When he isn’t working on a film or promoting
his movies, he can be found in his woodshop making furniture. He swears
being a woodcrafter is his favorite past time.



The hard rock director spends quite a bit of time in his woodshop at
home between filmmaking. He takes pride in making furniture for the
whole family, “I work with all kinds of wood -- rosewood, olivewood --

DVDTalk - Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day

Sequels are often times not nearly as good as the first film in a franchise, but there have been exceptions to that rule. See Terminator 2 and The Godfather Part 2 for just a couple examples but they had something working in their favor that Boondock Saints II does not. While T2 came close; it didn't have ten full years in between the original film and the sequel. It doesn't seem to matter in this case though because Boondock Saints has built such a cult following that most fans have literally been watching it on a loop just hoping that one day a sequel would arrive. Vaughan actor gets break in cult crime thriller Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day

Lights. Camera. Action. Woodbridge actor Robert Mauriell plays a small role as a younger version of the character played by legendary actor Peter Fonda in the crime thriller Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day.
Vaughan residents can soon watch one of their own in a new DVD coming to video stores in March.

Woodbridge actor Robert Mauriell plays a small role as Louie in Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day.

The movie is about brothers who are living a quiet life in Ireland when they learn their beloved priest has been killed by mob forces in Boston. They return to Boston to bring justice to those responsible.

The movie, directed by Troy Duffy, was released in mid-November on limited screens in the Greater Toronto Area. It is a sequel to the 1999 cult classic crime thriller, The Boondock Saints.

It is set for DVD release March 9.
